when deeply practicing prajna-paramita,
; E' O5 F: l1 w( ~6 u: h7 n' m4 O' kclearly saw that the five skandhas are all empty,
9 ]8 ?9 W/ Q  m; L' eand was saved from all suffering and distress./ _4 ?( J+ B. ?8 @' h) }
观自在菩萨7 b& |) }. H% g" [7 T2 _; b6 r' p
行深般若波罗蜜多时
% T* z! {: w4 [  a- S照见五蕴皆空度一切苦厄
& A" o4 r& S3 P2 VSariputra,9 ^3 n2 g, r' G$ s  I! n
form is no different to emptiness,( {& R* G6 K) d" W* J
emptiness no different to form.( r* ]4 n: D6 Y
That which is form is emptiness,: v" Z( ~9 _" @! Q+ [! a9 H6 n, ~
that which is emptiness, form.
5 l/ [+ y! B7 d# B. I4 v, o舍利子% r! H. P) Y& k( d5 e' h
色不异空空不异色% m+ T( A' o+ o3 d- x
色即是空空即是色
! f7 e+ [! m4 _7 r9 U  m1 b) V' JSensations, perceptions, impressions, and consciousness are also like this.
% B: M+ L# T9 X  `1 _受想行识亦复如是5 j3 A" ~6 n: G! g2 u
Sariputra,
. V4 A1 f4 ^% z3 D6 N" kall things and phenomena are marked by emptiness;  j2 f. C- Q: S/ V- [5 |- o
they are neither appearing nor disappearing,
2 M! u5 O6 h# V+ N6 g) Rneither impure nor pure,6 d: u4 [! |; A" e
neither increasing nor decreasing.% e8 y4 r& u, [% I
舍利子
6 H9 J4 N; s* u- p' l是诸法空相不生不灭
$ [2 x; f; B! r不垢不净不增不减$ ]! g. y2 {" T
Therefore, in emptiness,
& w) _5 f+ m$ ^- O2 `1 Zno forms, no sensations, perceptions, impressions, or consciousness;) b" w. _8 I# x7 Q
no eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, mind;
$ p( Z+ {8 P# d8 W+ I) L是故空中无色无受想行识
, V2 _% D( h" e无眼耳鼻舌身意
, H2 |& e$ i' F, l. Y- @no sights, sounds, odors, tastes, objects of touch, objects of mind;
9 Q, @! t9 b5 U+ [4 _no realm of sight up to no realm of consciousness;( o7 j6 N) x( t
无色声香味触法
- a* B( t0 G5 _, u7 l8 O6 I5 j6 q无眼界乃至无意识界  |: n4 p5 c* T
no ignorance and no end of ignorance,1 m1 D5 `' P! Q+ Z3 S
and no end of aging and death;
+ c' [/ [# r5 B$ \4 L8 ~- j7 l$ M6 l无无明亦无无明尽
& ]- W  O/ _9 i2 s% e乃至无老死亦无老死尽
+ T$ \( l- g1 s  J2 Fno suffering, accumulation, cessation, or path;& F  B; [0 q& Y# r7 N7 }$ X% g
no wisdom and no attainment.
8 q* o6 u3 S+ O! i% Y/ M# z无苦集灭道无智亦无得
: d, P2 ]9 x5 @5 S& s0 ]With nothing to attain,3 [0 _; p9 p! N/ e# b, L- O
bodhisattvas
/ W: H6 {) X6 lrely on prajna-paramita,
& U6 }8 B" M2 b! w2 E' band their minds are without hindrance." k  H7 P2 v; H& o9 q5 e& b
以无所得故
9 r" P8 M, e) {菩提萨陲依般若波罗蜜多故6 X+ a6 V4 j+ e% a+ ]3 ~
They are without hindrance,/ L( L: Q+ ?7 {, e- E
and thus without fear.
7 D* l" o( {$ e& x3 J& d9 }心无碍无碍故无有恐怖
6 G& f" T, T; V% S+ YFar apart from all confused dreams,
1 ~, V, r2 J: j% k. H/ qthey dwell in nirvana.% `: W; f  Z' z5 ]9 _7 u
远离颠倒梦想究竟涅盘
/ S- R! _; i" g7 e2 W2 s0 u% F4 HAll buddhas of the past, present and future$ a1 {6 l# m- Z# P
rely on prajna-paramita,
# i+ y* S7 _. k; q1 A0 j3 pand attain anuttara-samyak-sambodhi.
$ B0 K* N; L" m三世诸佛依般若波罗蜜多故! H- j7 o9 c/ h5 G: c+ f0 p
得阿耨多罗三藐三菩提
/ B; P$ S6 |2 m; ~4 r3 YTherefore, know that prajna-paramita7 A+ s5 s2 H, S4 a+ v: ]" F
is the great transcendent mantra,* E1 w+ _8 s- T
the great bright mantra,9 \! T7 F- Y/ C" E  ?. u3 X: p
the supreme mantra,& n: S/ U# Q, |4 r2 i
the unequalled balanced mantra,1 Z! B  x! o0 d
that can eliminate all suffering,
+ i8 G8 l5 J. p, ?: }0 R, U3 Tand is real, not false.
; W/ [' k- e& f# |5 Y故知般若波罗蜜多6 ]1 H1 r. j3 L  `' d' p
是大神咒是大明咒是无上咒
1 g: u+ E  V+ e是无等等咒能除一切苦真实不虚
; r/ P( A0 t: k- I# Z4 uSo proclaim the prajna-paramita mantra,
5 p' M: h* P- Pproclaim the mantra that says:/ Q2 ]" b" P& L  D
故说般若波罗蜜多咒! x+ I6 E* S" ~
即说咒曰3 e1 ]* W5 F) w
gate, gate,
; h8 b& I" ?6 Aparagate,* h) g& g6 c" c, d5 E
parasamgate,
9 `! Z. K; r! d6 j! o4 }! Tbodhi, svaha!
+ o3 v# q; Y1 ?, }揭谛揭谛波罗揭谛  R2 d/ M$ a6 _! C( K3 S
波罗僧揭谛菩提娑婆诃
